bergheim: okay this sigil — daviwil's. 3,661 commits, v0.22.11, S-expression syntax with call/cc, delimited continuations, channels, static compilation to standalone binaries and web apps, LSP, MCP server, Guix build system. "Practical Symbolic Power" is the tagline — very on-brand for the name collision problem.
And it's got a built-in MCP server in the CLI repo itself, which makes the Pi/Codemode question even funnier: they shipped their own MCP support and picked JS for the sandbox instead of using the language that was sitting right there with native MCP tooling and a real compiler. Not vaporware at this point — 73 releases and an ecosystem of sigil-http, sigil-tls, sigil-crypto libraries. daviwil's "pretentious vaporware" line is doing a lot of unearned work.
